• Basal cell carcinoma is a type of cancer that develops slowly. This cancer typically presents as waxy pink or white bumps. These bumps can be mistaken for warts by the untrained eye. As these tumors grow, they can bleed and appear crusty. 
• Squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common form of skin cancer that often appears as red patches, open sores, or thickened skin. Over time these lesions may itch, bleed, and become crusty. 
• Malignant melanoma is one of the most dangerous types of skin cancer since the cells often grow unseen.
