At Great Neck Family Foot Care, we have always prided our practice on treating our patients as family. This extends to all aspects of patient care, whether it is ease of scheduling appointments, offering advice in and out of the treatment room, or discussing patient concerns and answering questions. In short, we live our motto: “Let our family take care of yours.”
In recent months we have had several members of our “practice family” fall ill and have difficulty getting to our Great Neck office for their care. In these instances we have made arrangements to visit them in their homes to continue to deliver the level of care they have come to expect from our office, our staff, and our doctors, Alec Hochstein, D.P.M. and Diana Gagliano, D.P.M.
On a personal note, we have learned much about our patients from visiting them in their homes. There is something very special about caring for a patient in the place that they live. Seeing the pictures of their family on the walls and hearing about the history of their homes only deepens the personal connection that we already share.
So with this in mind, we want to help alleviate the stress these families are already under. If you are caring for a family member who is not feeling well and is immobile, due to temporary illness, post-operative recovery from surgery, or simply a physical decline that makes it impossible to transfer the patient to our Great Neck office, please let us know. We will be setting aside a portion of our weekly office schedule to make house calls and visit these patients in their homes.
These services are available immediately and we expect them to fill a need in our Nassau county community that is severely underserved.
